Hello all,
My name is Bonnie and I have been visiting this site for a few days and thought I would finally introduce myself. I have 3 kids. My ex and I share custody of the oldest (15 y.o). We are finally at a place where we are both happy with the custody and child support arrangement. Let's hope this lasts! I am now a lawyer, but during most of our family court battles, I was not and we both went pro se. Neither of us had any money or any property to split, and early on, he did not want custody. Now I represent people in criminal cases and child welfare cases, with a little bit of family law thrown in on the side. I look forward to getting to know you all! Bonnie |

Hello Bonnie, I am also new to this site and I found it looking for answers via the web on issues I have with custody. Congrats on becoming a lawyer! I am representing myself and I am receiving some help from legal aid here in Indiana. They have helped me draw up papers to file in court, but that is about all they will do. I have a sister in law is 2/3 through school to become a paralegal and that is the closest I have to a lawyer in the family, lol.

This site is really great. I am very impressed by how knowledgeable people are on here. Paralegals are great! Your sister-in-law will be able to help you a lot!
