Child Custody False Allegations - Turning the Tables

No doubt about it the most evil tactic in child custody false allegation cases is a parent who falsely accuses the other parent of doing something unthinkable to their own child. This is a clearly a tactic that is used by someone who is desperate and is intended to put the other parent on the defensive. Unfortunately it is a tactic that is effective.

The good news is, you are an excellent parent with a great track record. The bad news is an allegation has been made that needs to be investigated. The good news is that the truth is on your side and so is time.

The first thing to remember is that when the alleged allegation is investigated, and it will be, to bring up that you are involved in a bitter custody dispute. The second thing is to deny any wrong doing. If your allegation is investigated by Child Protective Services (CPS) they will interview all the parties involved and likely give you a clean bill of health. This is now great news! You can now taught that you have been investigated by CPS and the charges have been found to have no merit.

Now you get to play the aggressor and go on the offensive. You can ask what kind of parent would purposely sabotage the relationship with the other parent and openly wonder what else they would do that would be harmful to the child.

If the allegations don’t get investigated by CPS but are brought up to the court mediator or evaluator, then raise the question of why it was never brought up before. Bring up all the texts and emails that you have received and ask why topics like whose paying for an activity was argued but not an allegation of you doing something awful to your child. I said before that time was on your side in this case and it is. You now have a false allegation that will always show that the other parent is capable of lying on a grand scale and that they can never be trusted. Time will always be on your side with a liar.
